Why It Matters
I believe people are our greatest assets. Whether in our local communities or across the globe, our goal is to invest
in the knowledge, skills, and personal development that empower individuals and communities to lead their
own journey toward self- sufficiency. — Brydon Nisbet
Cultivating Self-Sufficiency
Since 2022, our sustainable agriculture initiatives in Mbale have focused on leasing land for maize and bean production. By creating local jobs, we are actively transitioning away from aid dependency and are now seeking to expand and diversify our operations.
Strategic Land Expansion & Diversification:
Expanding our footprint will allow us to grow different crops, which in turn means greater food security,
local employment, and lasting economic growth.
Machinery, Equipment and Water Infrastructure: Investing in tractors & implements, will help drive operational efficiency and generate consistent
employment and income through local contracting.
Digging wells benefits both farming for irrigation and drinking water for our families and the community.
On-the-Ground Leadership & Training: The success of these projects relies on strong leadership and hands-on oversight. Brydon’s presence in Uganda is essential to ensure every project is executed with excellence, providing the direct mentorship and training required for future succession.
Other Businesses: There are so many business opportunities - Below are just a few that will give many people a chance at business and job security.
Retail: Breaking down bulk food supplies to sell locally
Livestock: Goat and cow rearing for meat and milk.
Poultry: Meat and eggs

NEXT STEPS...
SUPPORTING
Orphans, Widows, Schools and Families
There is still a tremendous need for aid support. Transition is a process that takes time to put in place.
We have many families in desperate need to provide their children the very basics of life.
Food Supplies: Support is needed for families facing hardship. Extended relatives regularly care for orphaned children but often struggle with the cost of food.
We provide regular supplies to ensure these families stay together.
Education Barriers: School is a costly privilege, not a free right. Uniforms, fees, and supplies are too expensive. Financial help is required to get children into the classroom.
Supporting Widows: We focus directly on helping widows, who most often are the caretakers of orphaned children. Providing them with financial aid and work opportunities ensures these children receive the necessary care.
